We are the Bobcat Choir.
Our unique campus includes both middle school and high school on one campus. Our program has the entire spectrum of choral education happening in one classroom! We are a building program that expects to be a competitive force in the DFW area for years to come!
24 is the flagship ensemble of the Benbrook Bobcat Choirs, and is dedicated to performing the finest literature for treble voices. 24 has a very active performance schedule throughout the school year including scheduled concerts, special programs, festivals and competitions. Students will continue to develop vocal technique and musicianship as well as develop critical thinking skills through the analysis of musical elements, including form and text. Students are expected to participate in one evening concert each quarter as a major part of their grade. 24 singers are also required to audition for the All Region Choir, compete in the Solo and Ensemble Competition, and participate in the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Competition.
Sforzando is the competitive Tenor-Bass ensemble of the Benbrook Bobcat Choir. Singers in sFz perform a variety of musical genres around the metroplex, in festivals and competitions. Students will continue to develop vocal technique and musicianship as well as develop critical thinking skills through the analysis of musical elements, including form and text. Students are expected to participate in one evening concert each quarter as a major part of their grade. 24 singers are also required to audition for the All Region Choir, compete in the Solo and Ensemble Competition, and participate in the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Competition.
The Bobcat Show Choir performs a variety of musical genres including: pop, jazz, and Broadway. This elite, audition-only ensemble is open to students in grades 9-12. The Bobcat Show Choir performs all around the Benbrook Community, as well as at the Holiday and Spring Pops Concerts. All members of Mic Drop receive a PE credit
Members of the Cantus learn the basics of vocal technique, sight-reading, music theory, and music history. This choir is open to all levels of HS treble voices. All Bobcat choir students participate in two evening concerts each semester as a major part of their grade. Students will also participate in the HS Non-Varsity UIL Concert and Sight-reading Competition, Solo and Ensemble, and All Region Competitions.
Arpeggio is the SATB ensemble of the Benbrook Bobcat Choirs. Arpeggio has an active performance schedule throughout the school year including scheduled concerts, special programs, festivals and competitions. Students will continue to develop vocal technique and musicianship as well as develop critical thinking skills through the analysis of musical elements, including form and text. Students are expected to participate in one evening concert each quarter as a major part of their grade. Arpeggio singers are also required to audition for the All Region Choir, compete in the Solo and Ensemble Competition, and participate in the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Competition.

Members of the Bobcat MS Advanced Treble Choir further their exploration of vocal technique, music theory, and music history through the study of a wide variety of choral music. Students in Advanced MS Treble Choir are expected to participate in two evening concerts each semester as a major part of their grade. They are also required to audition for the All Region Choir, compete in the Solo and Ensemble Competition, and participate in the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Competition.
Members of the MS Tenor/Bass Choir learn the basics of vocal technique, sight-reading, music theory, and music history. This choir is open to all levels of MS/HS male voices. All Bobcat Tenor/Bass students participate in two evening concerts each semester as a major part of their grade. Students will also participate in the Non-Varsity UIL Concert and Sight-reading Competition, Solo and Ensemble, and All Region Competitions.

Members of the Bobcat Treble Chorale study the basic foundations of music reading and music theory for the beginning musician, extend the abilities of more advanced students, and increase singing confidence and aptitude. All Chorale singers participate in two evening concerts each semester as a major part of their grade. Students will also participate in the Non-Varsity UIL Concert and Sight-reading Competition, Solo and Ensemble, and All Region Competitions.
Members of the Bobcat MS Beginner Choirs learn the basics of vocal technique, sight-reading, music theory, and music history. Beginners sing a variety of musical styles, including: pop, jazz, classical, and Broadway. All MS Beginning students participate in two evening concerts each semester as a major part of their grade.
